Improv New Mexico™ (Improv NM™) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making a difference in New Mexico's communities. Since our founding in 2019, we’ve provided improv classes, workshops, and performances in Santa Fe, empowering individuals and supporting local growth. Now, under our new leadership and through our statewide initiative:
IMPROV4NEWMEXICO® (IMPROV4NM® / i4NM
™), we’re expanding our reach as the first (and only) improv school in New Mexico to operate under a PWYC (pay-what-you-can) model
for improv classes, embracing our bold mission to:
Transform Lives and Communities Across New Mexico Through The Power of Improv.
With local partnerships, corporate training programs, mental health clinic collaborations, and community engagement projects, we’re poised to
bring the benefits of improv and improv-based learning to every corner of our state. As we grow, we remain committed to building a vibrant
community that strengthens New Mexico through the shared joy of storytelling, humor, creative expression, and personal growth.

Improv New Mexico™ supports: arts education and creative workforce development across the state by fiscally sponsoring select, mission-aligned projects.
Through fiscal sponsorship, we provide nonprofit oversight, administrative support, and charitable infrastructure for educational and community-based initiatives in improv, performance, film, and media—ensuring that creative work benefits New Mexico communities.

The Sills
One of the most impactful ways to grow as an actor or performer is through honest, no-nonsense feedback paired with a supportive environment to put that feedback into action. Rachel excels at both. She has a rare gift for creating a space where people who are serious about improv can truly learn and flourish. Her sensitivity in providing feedback is unmatched—she tailors her notes to each individual, empowering them (myself included) both on and off the stage. Improv is an incredible medium for self-exploration and stepping beyond one’s comfort zone in a growth-oriented way. It’s liberating, healing, and transformational, and Rachel’s approach brings out the best in every performer.

Learned so much about improv in the last 2 hours!?!?!! -- world changing!
Your guidance and insight helped me put together the pieces for improv so much. It takes me a while to process everything still, so I can't wait to keep practicing so it comes more naturally. I could see how taking the Game again could be really helpful.
...Your passion, knowledge, time and energy you put into your craft is so apparent and appreciated. Human to human, thank you for all you do. You are making this world a better place...
